The Advanced EMT program provides comprehensive training to prepare students for careers as emergency medical technicians. Students will gain the knowledge, skills, and experience required to provide advanced pre-hospital emergency care and transportation of the sick and injured. The course adheres to the 2021 National EMS Education Standards and the State of North Carolina Medical Board approved EMS protocols, policies, procedures, skills, and medicine formulary.
Class will run from 1800-2200 Tuesday and Thursday evenings. August 15, 2024 to May 13, 2025
