Continuum FAQ

  1. Go to https://continuum.emspic.org/login
  2. Click on “Create Account” in the upper right-hand corner of the page
  3. Complete all fields and click “Next” – there are three pages to complete
  4. After completing the last page, you will receive a message that an email confirmation has been sent to the email address you provided in your profile
  5. Go to your email, look for the email from Continuum (please be sure to check spam). Click on the link in the email
  6. You will be re-directed to a page that states “Your email address has been validated”, at this point you are in your profile. Look in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and you will see your name with an arrow next to it, click the arrow to drop down the menu and choose “My Profile”
  7. The next screen asks what State you prefer, choose North Carolina and click next
  8. You will be asked to accept a Confidentiality Agreement on this page. Read the agreement carefully, then click “Accept”
  9. The next page will acknowledge your Confidentiality Agreement; look in the upper right-hand corner, drop down the menu next to your name and choose “My Personnel View”
  10. This is your profile page; scroll down until you see “State Profiles” and click on “Create a NC state profile ID” and the system will assign a P#
  11. You have completed setting up your profile in the North Carolina credentialing system
  1. If you have already created your Continuum profile, login to your account
  2. Scroll down to “Courses” and click on “Find a Course”
  3. Enter the course number
  4. Select your course and enter the course registration code
  1. You have created your profile and went directly to register for the course and you received the above error message. Log out of your Continuum profile
  2. Log back into your profile using your new P# as state ID and the password you set your account up with
  3. Follow the instructions under “How do I register for a course?”
  1. Login to your profile; you will land on “Your Dashboard”
  2. Look in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and click the down arrow next to your name
  3. Choose “My Profile” – this will put you in the edit mode where you can update/change your address, email and/or phone number
  1. Exam registration is a two step process: logon to your Continuum profile
  2. Scroll down to “Scantron Exams” and click on register
  3. Complete the Applicant statement and submit
  4. Go to your email and find the email from Meazure Learning, follow the instructions in that email to schedule and pay for your exam
  1. Logon to your profile, click the down arrow next to your name in the upper right-hand corner, drop down the menu and choose “My Personnel View”
  2. Scroll down to “Scantron Exams” and click on “Register”
  3. Complete the applicant statement and submit
  4. Go to your email and find the email from Meazure Learning, follow instructions in that email to schedule and pay for your exam
  1. Login to your profile, click on the arrow next to your name in the upper right-hand corner and select “My Personnel View”
  2. Scroll down to “Scantron Exams” and click on “view”. Here you will see the applicant statement you created and the date it was created
  3. Go to your email and find the email from Meazure Learning to schedule and pay for your exam
  4. If the date you completed and submitted the applicant statement is more than 90 days old, you must contact the Office of EMS at 919-855-3935 option 0
  1. Login to your profile, click on the arrow next to your name in the upper right-hand corner of the page
  2. Scroll down to “Credentials” and click on the print button. The system will put your credential in a PDF file so you can print and/or save it
