The Paramedic Certificate Course is the first of two blocks that provides individuals with the knowledge, skills, and attributes to provide advanced emergency medical care as paramedics for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system. This course will prepare graduates to enter the workforce. Coursework is done on campus and online.
Paramedic Student Prerequisites:
*Successful completion of an EMT Program (EMT Card or P#)
*High School Diploma (or equivalent)
*College Credit for English (transcript grade of C or higher) **OR** within the previous 12 months, complete a written assessment placing the individual into college-level English
*College Credit for Math (transcript grade of C or higher) **OR** within the previous 12 months complete a written
assessment placing the individual into college-level Math.
