Day EMT Class @ Alamance Community College

Introduction for the BLS provider dates are: 12/9/2024 – 1/11/2025
—- all work for this course will be completed online except for one day when students will come in from 9am -6pm to complete CPR and your CEVO driving course. The in-person dates are either 1/10/2025 or 1/11/2025.

EMT AM Academy dates are: 1/13/2025 – 4/23/2025. Class will be held on Monday’s and Wednesday’s from 8am -5pm.

This course introduces basic emergency medical care. Topics include preparatory, airway, patient assessment, medical emergencies, trauma, infants and children, and operations. The students will demonstrate knowledge of didactic and lab skills in the clinical and simulation setting.

Possession of a high school diploma, high school equivalency or successful completion of an exam assessing basic reading comprehension skills at a minimum at the eleventh-grade level.
The student must be 17 years of age on or before the official end of the course.
