Position: Paramedic Crew Chief
Salary Range: $49,050 – $73,575. Salary is based on years of experience, education, and other qualifying certificate courses. Salary range does not reflect additional pay for built in overtime or holiday hours.
Work Schedule: 24 hours on and 72 hours off

Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Paramedic Certification by the North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services
• Minimum of three years of experiences as a full-time Paramedic -or- the ability to demonstrate the competencies of a three year paramedic.
• Valid Driver’s License
• AHA CPR
• NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800 within 1 year of hire
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Ability to meet the physical, communication, and other like requirements listed in the job description

Yadkin County is a rural community located west of Winston-Salem, NC. We serve 37,000+ citizens, as well as the visitors and travelers who commute into and through our County every day. Last year, we responded to over 6,000 requests for service utilizing 5 ALS transport units and 1 QRV.
We keep an updated fleet equipped with LifePak 15’s, Stryker Power-LOAD stretchers & Stair-PRO stairchairs, video laryngoscopes, PAPR’s, a field blood administration program, and PCR software that provides access to patient feedback data from several area hospitals.
