Gaston College Summer 2024 Daytime EMT Class

The 244 Hour Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course follows National EMS Education Standards. This 8 week course includes all skills and course information necessary to provide emergency care of sick or injured patients at the basic care level. EMTs work for a Basic Life Support ambulance service, fire service, or other specialized rescue agency. Upon successful completion of the EMT course including classroom instruction, psychomotor skills competency, driver training and affective behavior training, the student will be eligible to sit for state and national written examinations. Only 32 classroom days!

Class runs 06/03/2024 through 08/01/2024
Monday through Thursday 0830-1500 including lunch break with two extended days until 1730
