Forsyth Tech EMS Programs will be offering an AEMT to Paramedic Bridging course that will run from July-Dec 2025 (exact dates haven’t been set). Current AEMT certification
Anatomy & Physiology Requirement
You must complete one of the following Anatomy & Physiology courses
BIO-168 & BIO-169: Anatomy and Physiology I & II
BIO-163: Basic Anatomy and Physiology
EMS-3163: Basic Anatomy and Physiology
BIO-165 & BIO-166: Anatomy and Physiology I & II
Math and Reading Competency Requirement
You must demonstrate post-secondary college-level math and reading competency by meeting one of the following tier categories:
Tier 1: Proof of post-secondary degree.
Tier 2: Proof of High School Diploma or GED, plus completion of a placement test that places the student in post-secondary college-level English and math.
Tier 3: College transcript showing successful completion of a college-level English course (ENG 111 or higher) and a college-level Math course.
