Initial EMT Class SPCC Polkton Campus

The emergency medical technician course instructs students on the essential knowledge, skills, and affective behavior required for certification. Students will attend classroom lectures, complete quizzes and tests, and practice skills. Students will complete 48 hours of field experience. The course culminates in a comprehensive final exam and technical scope of practice to ensure cognitive and skill mastery. Successful completion of the course allows students to register for the North Carolina and/or the National Registry EMT certification exam.
Classes will meet at the SPCC Polkton Campus – Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm until 10pm.
