Nash Community College will begin a Paramedic course in January 2025 with a flip-flop schedule. Students have the option of attending on Tuesday or Wednesday each week. The course will meet one weekend each month and includes online requirements. The seated portion of the course will end December 13, 2025 however, students will be able to complete the clinical and field portions until March 31, 2026.
Students must meet NCOEMS requirements for entry including valid EMT credential, completion of college level Math and English or successful placement testing prior to entry, and completion of Anatomy and Physiology Course prior to entry into clinical phase. EMS 3163 course options will be provided for students to meet this requirement.
