Johnston Community College will be offering a 16-month Paramedic Program beginning January 2025 ending May of 2026 with both certificate and degree options for students.
Classes meet on shift-friendly “flip flop” schedule of Tuesday/Wednesday from 9am-4pm with typically one weekend per month.
Students must meet NCOEMS requirements for entry including valid EMT credential, completion of college level Math and English or successful placement testing prior to entry, and completion of Anatomy and Physiology Course prior to entry into clinical phase. EMS 3163 course options will be provided for students to meet this requirement.
