Lenoir County EMS is hiring paramedics. We offer a 24/72 schedule, local county government benefits, Zoll X series monitors, video laryngoscopy, and medication infusion pumps. Current salary is $23.77/hr with overtime after 40 hours, and we are now offering shift differential for night shift work.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Performs responsible work in rendering emergency and non-emergency medical care and life-saving measures to critically ill or injured persons of all ages on basic and advanced life support levels.
Requires successful completion of the North Carolina State Emergency Medical Services training program or an equivalent training program.
Employment is contingent on passing an assessment center, physical agility test, pre-employment drug screen, skills validation program, clinical and operational clearance during the year-long probationary period.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Requires successful completion of the North Carolina State Emergency Medical Services Paramedic certification program or equivalent training program. Valid NC Paramedic Certification is required.
Valid NC Drivers License is also required
