Forsyth Technical Community College is offering an online EMS 3163: Basic Anatomy and Physiology starting on 7/3/2025 and ending on 9/21/2025.
EMS 3163 provides an essential foundation in human anatomy and physiology for EMS professionals. This course explores the structure and function of major body systems, emphasizing their relevance to prehospital emergency care. Topics include the cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous, and musculoskeletal systems, as well as homeostasis and pathophysiology. Designed for EMS students, this course equips learners with the knowledge necessary to assess patients effectively and make informed clinical decisions in emergency situations. This course meets all OEMS requirements for paramedic.
