In early-to-mid December, selected candidates will participate in an Assessment Center to include a formal interview, skills assessment, and physical ability test. After the Assessment Center, finalist(s) will receive an offer contingent on positive references and background.
Iredell County EMS (ICEMS) is the sole Advanced Life Support (ALS) EMS provider for a rapidly growing county with a population of over 200,000. ICEMS has 157 full-time and 51 part-time team members primarily working 12-hour shifts
ICEMS has two divisions responding to over 33,000 calls each year. The 911 division consists of 14 ALS ambulances across eight stations throughout the County. The Specialty Services Division (SSD) is comprised of four ALS ambulances stationed at our primary headquarters in Statesville. SSD is responsible for non-emergency calls and out-of-county transfers and operates the County’s Community Paramedic, Peer Support, and Medication Assistant Treatment (MAT) programs.
