Paramedic Refresher – 120 Hours – Online
Course is designed meeting the North Carolina Office of EMS Recertification and Refresher Program Guidelines for Paramedic credential renewal. Course will include multiple blocks of content including:
Airway, Respiration and Ventilation
Cardiovascular
Trauma – To include Pediatrics
Medical – To include Pediatrics
Operations
Local Competencies
Course will include both BLS and ALS content as BLS is a fundamental portion of quality ALS prehospital care
Course can be used for students with an expired or amended credential
Technical Scope of Practice required if credential has expired or is amended (will be discussed on a case-by-case basis)
