Are you ready to take your EMS career to the next level? Forsyth Tech EMS Programs is excited to offer TWO Advanced-EMT classes tailored around the EMS Pitman schedule. Our program meets all NCOEMS and CoAEMSPs standards for Advanced EMT.
Class 1: B/D Pitman Schedule
Dates: August 13, 2024 – December 17, 2024
Time: 0830 to 1700 hours
Schedule: Built around the B/D Pitman schedule, allowing you to attend class on your days off.
EMS Field Internship: Integrated into the class schedule on designated days.
Mandatory Orientation and Entry Exams: July 30, 2024
Class 2: A/C Pitman Schedule
Dates: January 7, 2025 – May 17, 2025
Time: 0830 to 1700 hours
Schedule: Built around the A/C Pitman schedule, allowing you to attend class on your days off.
EMS Field Internship: Integrated into the class schedule on designated days.
Mandatory Orientation and Entry Exams: December 10, 2024
Course prerequisites:
17 years of age on or before the official end date of the course.
High school diploma or high school equivalent.
Possession of a valid and active North Carolina EMT or NREMT Credential before the start of clinical.
Successful completion of college-level English, or within the previous 12 months, complete a written assessment placing the individual into college-level English.
Successful completion of college-level Math, or within the previous 12 months, complete a written assessment placing the individual into college-level Math.
Mandatory Orientation Session.
Must achieve the designated benchmark score on the entry exam.
