Transylvania County is known as “The Land of Waterfalls” with over 200 waterfalls. The county is home to the Pisgah National Forest, DuPont State Recreational Forest, and Gorges State Park. Outdoor recreation is abundant.
Transylvania County EMS is currently accepting applications for full-time Paramedic positions. It is desired for applicants to hold a current North Carolina Paramedic credential. The full-time Paramedic salary range is $24.84 – $38.50 for NCOEMS credentialed Paramedics. Please note that the starting salary will be calculated by Transylvania County Human Resources based on experience and education.
Transylvania County EMS operates on 12-hour shifts utilizing the DuPont schedule. This schedule allows for 8 consecutive days off per month.
The posting will remain active until Sunday, March 31, 2024 at 11:59 PM. Eligible applicants will be contacted with additional information regarding the hiring process as applications are received. Interviews will be held in early April 2024. Pre-employment screenings will be required for the final candidates. These are conducted by Transylvania County Human Resources.
