Gaston College now has registration open for EMS 2163, Anatomy and Physiology
The class is 100% Online, beginning September 8,2026.
This EMS 2163 helps students meet the requirement for A&P for Paramedic Medicine.
This course provides a basic study of the structure and function of the human body including all 11 human body systems, their functions and interrelationships. Topics include a study of body systems, cells, tissues, nutrition, acid-base balance, and electrolytes. Upon completion , students should be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of the fundamental principals of anatomy and physiology.
Students with Public Safety affiliations may be fee waived.
